Installation standards for chemical products

Considering the fact that you issue our guarantees and we assume thereafter the important responsibility that follows, it goes without saying that we must ensure that vehicles are treated with sufficient quantities of Otoprotec products. In general, the following quantities are judged minimal.

• For new vehicles, the minimum standard per vehicle is 1l of Amber Corrotec (only for vehicles equipped with a cabin like class c trucks) and 4l of black permanent antirust (Corropur, Corrotec or Corrodex) (quantity based on a 20' vehicle).

• For each vehicle, at least 350ml of paint treatment must be used and one bottle of Crystal Shine renovator must be provided to the client so that he may fulfill his obligation as requested in the warranty.

• Per vehicle, at least 1l of fabric treatment must be used. For optimal efficiency, the treated areas must be saturated with product.

• For each vehicle, at least one complete container of vinyl and leather treatment must be used and any excess (there will be excess) must be left to the client so that he may fulfill his obligation as requested in the warranty.

In order to ensure that the vehicles covered by our warranties are treated with sufficient quantities of Otoprotec products, we maintain close monitoring of purchases by dealers. To prevent the automatic sending of products, we invite you to do the necessary so that your installation department or your subcontractor fully comply with the following standards.

We strongly suggest coordinating purchases of products and warranties.

• For new vehicles, the minimum standard per vehicle is 1l of AMBRE CORROTEC and 2l of BLACK CORROTEC (for vehicles not treated at the factory).
• For used vehicles with an in service date of 38 months or less, the minimum standard is 1l of 55h/p per treatment.

• At least one bottle of paint treatment per vehicle must be used and one bottle of CRYSTAL SHINE renovator must be provided to the client so that he may fulfill his obligation as requested in the warranty.

• At least one full bottle of fabric treatment per vehicle must be used. For optimal efficiency, the fabrics and carpets must be saturated with product.

• At least 1/3 of a container of vinyl and leather treatment per vehicle must be used and any excess must be left to the client so that he may fulfill his obligation as requested in the warranty.
